How to Safely Operate A Hydraulic Press Machine

1. Hydraulic press machine operators must undergo training and master the equipment performance and operating techniques before they can operate independently.
2. Before operation, all kinds of debris on the mold should be cleaned first, and any dirt on the hydraulic machine rod should be wiped off.
3. The installation of the hydraulic press machine mold must be carried out with the power off. It is prohibited to collide with the start button, handle or step on the foot switch.
4. Install and align the upper and lower molds, adjust the mold gap, and do not allow one side to deviate from the center. After confirming that it is fixed, the mold can be tested again.
5. Before working on the hydraulic press machine, first start the equipment and run it idling for 5 minutes. At the same time, check whether the oil level in the fuel tank is sufficient, whether the sound of the oil pump is normal, and whether there are leaks in the hydraulic unit, pipes, joints, and pistons. Goodsjack/Delishi Hydraulic Machinery start the equipment to test the pressure and check whether the pressure reaches the working pressure, whether the equipment operates normally and reliably, and whether there is any leakage.
7. Adjust the working pressure, but it should not exceed 90% of the rated pressure of the equipment. Test the pressure on a workpiece and proceed with production after passing the inspection.
8. For different hydraulic press profiles and workpieces, when pressing and calibrating, the working pressure of the press and the number and time of pressure application and pressure holding should be adjusted at any time to ensure that the mold and workpiece are not damaged.
9. When the hydraulic press machine body pressure plate slides up and down, it is strictly prohibited to put your hands and head into the pressure plate or the working part of the mold.
10. It is strictly prohibited to perform knocking, stretching, welding, bending, twisting and other operations on the work while applying pressure.
11. Smoking, welding, and fire are prohibited around the hydraulic press, and flammable and explosive items are not allowed to be stored. Take fire prevention measures.
12. After the hydraulic press machine is finished working, the power supply should be cut off, the hydraulic rod of the press should be wiped clean, add lubricating oil, and the molds and workpieces should be cleaned and placed neatly.
