Hydraulic press, also known as stamping press, is a type of hydraulic press used for precise forming and cutting of metal, typically moving up and down. Metal, provided in sheet form, is stamped between the two halves of the stamping tool. The upper part of the tool, the punch, is connected to the punch, and the lower part of the tool, the mold, is connected to the pad fixed on the base of the press.
