Cold Forging Manufacturing Process
Cold forging is one of the metal forming processes, also known as cold die forging or cold extrusion.Cold forging is a manufacturing process and a processing method, it deforms metal while it is below its re-crystallization point, cold forging is preferred when the metal is already a soft metal, such as aluminum and copper. Now the cold forging is a common process of machining in automotive industry, motorcycle industry, machine tool industry and hardware industry, which using certain tools and equipment to deforming metal into a established shape, which is similar to the result of hot forging.
